Just some thoughts

Yesterday, we went to a picnic with some friends at Smith Park. Its going to be one of the last few things we can do with these friends of ours before we leave to move to Boise at the end of the summer. We had a lot of fun eating sandwiches, deviled eggs, cookies, etc, and playing Imaginiff, the same game we played when we first started hanging out. What I think is a little sad is that Little Mac and Bennett won't get to play together after we move. But that's what happens when you live in a college town, people move in and out a lot.

I read a friend's blog today and she was worrying about how getting her son out and about has begun influencing him and sometimes not in the way she expected. It made me stop and think about if I feel the same way with Bennett. And I have to admit, I don't think its changing anything yet. Bennett really keeps to himself, he's really chatty with us, but not really around others. But my friend is right, the day will come when Bennett will be more influenced by others his age and I'm curious how I'll respond.

I was able to make it to the temple this afternoon, its really nice having a temple so close by. I wonder how close we'll be to the Boise Temple....I am still enjoying Family History, its a pleasure and one I try to do as often as I can. But I can't very well neglect Bennett so I don't do it as often as I used to. But some is better than nothing. Well, those are my thoughts for the day.

You must've read my post from yesterday. I must say, little Mac is a GORGEOUS baby! You know I love, Benny, too. All Andrew for sure! I hope you can come back to The Burg for Christmas. We REALY need to get pictures of our boys and us together again. It's been soooooo long! And I envy your going to the temple. I haven't been able to go since I was 7 months. That's almost a year... Even going once is a miracle. The highest of calling is motherhood- going to the temple is just a bonus for those who have received those blessings in heaven.
